For this assignment, I want you to write a 550 word story/narrative which demonstrates that you understand the difference between quid pro quo and hostile workplace sexual harassment. You must include examples in which you explain both of them. (Each is explained in detail in your Employment notes that were posted.) This “story” can be based on real-life and/or personal examples, but please don’t use anyone’s name. Your story should clearly show behavior that demonstrates sexual harassment in the workplace.
You must also explain what could/should have been done by the employer to prevent such behavior in the workplace, what suggestions you would have for the person being harassed, and what legal remedies would be available to the employee against the harasser. And the company… (In other words, what actions could the employee take against the harasser and the company if applicable.) If you choose to write on a real-life example, please do not use actual individual or company names.) so study the notes carefully before you begin!
