In the first milestone, I interviewed an APRN. This paper aims to spotlight and honor an APRN leader and the leadership style and strategies they employ to improve quality metrics within healthcare systems, organizations, and diverse practice settings. “This evidence-based paper will involve primary research, conducted through one live interview, as well as secondary research, conducted through consultation, review, and synthesis of existing literature. The final paper should be written at a level suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. The second milestone for your Service Leadership Final Paper focuses on secondary research to yield a synthesis of existing literature, which aims to lay the research- and evidence-based foundation of the leadership style that you identified for your selected APRN as a result of your primary research (interview).”
-Upon completing your interview, you must decide which of the theories you studied in this course best explains the leadership style of the APRN you interviewed (e.g., transformational).
– After choosing the leadership style, you must then locate at least 10 academic articles and/or scholarly publications on the selected leadership style. The articles or publications must have been published within the last five years.
– Then, you need to review and study the existing literature.
– Lastly, you are required to write a brief synthesis of the literature.
